In the last episode of SOAP we learned
that Westers and Johnson weren't through with torturing
the families. During a dinner party Elaine was kidnapped.
They gave Elaine a shot that will affect her intestines
and now she has to find a way home. Meanwhile in trial
Jessica has only days until a decision will be made and
she may be put in the chair for the latest law against
arsonist acts. Also Billy has been having a ball in his
new job in Massachusetts, but someone knows he isn't the
man everyone thinks he is. Confused? You won't be after
tonight's episode of SOAP! Billy's Office <Billy is typing something on his computer as Mr. Fitzgerald walks by his office. Billy: Leaving so early sir? Mr. Fitzgerald: Actually I have a very important meeting to attend. Would you like to come along? Billy: I really shouldn't. I still have about five reports to finish by the evening in order to meet the deadline of our latest deal with biztec. Mr. Fitzgerald: You're an excellent worker Billy. I'm glad to have you in such a high ranking position. Have a good evening. Oh and here's a letter that came in the mail for you. Billy: Thanks. <Mr. Fitzgerald leaves and Billy looks like he's going to faint from overworking. He opens up his mail and has a scared look on his face. He drops the paper and it reads Fraud over it front and back.> Tates House <Jessica and Chester walk downstairs in the living room where Benson is dusting.> Chester: Jessica, you have to stop all this worrying. I got no sleep whatsoever last night. Benson: Don't worry Mr. Tate, I never sleep. Chester: Benson, I'm having a conversation with Jessica. Can you go and just clean the house? Benson: No. Chester: Jessica! Benson won't do what I ask from him. Jessica: He's smart. Chester: Oh Jessica. I'm sorry for being annoyed. But don't worry, the trial will be over in a few days. I know you're going to be just fine. <The doorbell rings.> Chester: Benson, just get it. <Benson answers the door and Corinne walks in with suitcases in both arms.> Corinne: Oh mother I'm home! I heard about the trial and rushed here as soon as possible. Uh mom, where's the damage? Jessica: Well Benson actually saved the day. Corinne: Oh Benson you're back! Benson: Yes and so are you, I guess that means another room to tidy. Corinne: Don't worry Benson, I won't be much trouble. It's Timmy who will need his roomed cleaned every day. <Timmy walks in and he looks about 3 or 4 years old. Jessica picks him up for a hug.> Jessica: Oh Timmy! I'm your grandmother. Corinne: Say hi to your grandma. Timmy: Hi grandma. Mommy? Who is the old guy next to grandma. Corinne: That's your grandpa! Chester: Well hello Timmy. You are a handsome boy. You certainly look like me. <Jessica elbows him as he remembers, he's not even the real father of Corinne. Chester: But you look more like mommy! Corinne: So mother what is happening with the trial? Jessica: Nothing really. I have Mr. Mallu defending me. We have Judge Petrillo back on the stand. The trial will be over in days. Corinne: Oh well I'll be moving back in I guess. Jessica: That's lovely. Benson please bring Corinne's bags upstairs. Corinne: The ride was actually very long. I'm going to go upstairs and rest. Are you going anywhere today? Chester: The courthouse. Corinne: Okay, I'll be there. I think I'll pay a visit to Eunice and Dutch. They are still together right? Jessica: Last time I checked. <Corinne goes upstairs and Benson follows her with the suitcases.> Chester: Don't worry Jessica. Corinne being here is just another bit of good >luck for the family. Jessica: I'm not worried. I have just about the whole family with me now. They won't take me away from it now. Campbells House Danny: We dropped off the money like the note we founded asked for. She should have been home by now. <The doorbell rings and Elaine comes in. She falls in Danny's arms.> Elaine: I made it home. Danny: She doesn't look good Burt. You better call an ambulance. Elaine what did they do to you? Elaine: They gave me some sort of shot in my neck. My stomach doesn't feel very good. Burt: Move her to the couch, we just got the carpet done. Danny: Elaine you're going to be okay. I know you will. <Upstairs noises are heard.> Chuck: That's it Bob I'm going to do it! <A shot from a gun is heard and the voice of Bob screams.> Danny: What the hell was that? Burt: I think Chuck just killed Bob. Danny: Tell 911 to bring two trucks then. Mary: But Danny... Danny: Bob may be hurt. My main concern however is with you Elaine. You will be okay. Elaine: I know. I love you Dann.... <Elaine faints.> Danny: She fainted mom. Burt get connected now!! Burt: Uh hello. This is Sheriff Campbell and we have a very sick woman in my living room. Yes, I do know her, she's my daughter in law. We also have a possible dead dummy upstairs. We may need backup. There's a shortage of trucks? Why is that sir? Danny: Are they bringing anything? Burt: Shhhh.... Oh the dumb sheriff never signed the papers to allow for more ambulances in Dunn's River. Okay, you can forge my signature I'm bringing my daughter in law in. Good-bye. Danny: Are they coming? Burt: No. I'm starting the sheriff car. We're taking her there. Let's get a move on this! Mary, stay home and check up on Bob. Actually first go to the basement and get some wood and nails. We don't know his condition either.... Courthouse <All of the Tates are in the courthouse. Jessica whispers to Eunice before the trial starts.> Jessica: Where is Mary and the Campbells? Eunice: She called the cell phone a few minutes ago. Elaine arrived home very sick. They can't make it today. Police Officer Tinkler: Everyone please rise for Judge Petrillo. <Judge Petrillo comes in and sits down.> Judge Petrillo: From my understanding, the jury has made a decision from a premature verdict. However, in Dunn's River law, a verdict can be made at any time after three full days in court. Therefore without having to hear anymore evidence, please bring up the verdict. Now let me remind you, if Jessica Tate is found guilty, it doesn't mean she will be tried for the death penalty on arson. It just means she is guilty. There will be a decision of punishment on the bottom of the paper which I will read to all of you after the decision is made. If Jessica Tate is innocent then she will leave court and this trial cannot be appealed. <The jury hands Judge Petrillo the paper. He opens it and reads it.> Judge Petrillo: The jury has decided unanimously, that Jessica Tate, is found.... To Be Continued......... Announcer: Will Jessica be found guilty? Will Elaine get better? Did Chuck kill Bob? Will the family be happier now that Corinne is home? Will Billy find out who thinks he's a fraud? These questions and many others may be answered in the next episode of SOAP! |
