At the Campbell's house in the last
episode of SOAP Elaine returned home very sick from some
sort of stomach virus that Westers and Johnson implanted
inside her. The Campbell's called for an ambulance and
hope she will become better. Chuck apparently had a
nervous breakdown and shot a gun at Bob. Meanwhile at the
Tates house Corinne came back home just in time to
witness the decision of Jessica's trial. Either she will
be found innocent or guilty, and if she is found guilty,
she could be put on trial for an execution from a newly
signed arsonist act. Confused? You won't be after
tonight's episode of SOAP! Courthouse Judge Petrillo: The jury has found Jessica Tate guilty of all charges of the arson of her house. Mr. Mallu: I object! There is clearly not enough evidence to convict this woman. Judge Petrillo: Please sit down Mr. Mallu. I have not completed the statement. The jury has found Jessica Tate guilty on terms of attempted murder of at least five members of the household and therefore has decided that she will be the first woman to ever witness the newly installed execution chamber in thirty days. <Mary and Burt run in as Judge Petrillo is stating about the execution.> Mary: No!!! Judge Petrillo: Please remove Mrs. Campbell from the court. She is clearly a disturbance to the trial. Mary: You can't do this to my sister!!! <The security guards take out Mary and Burt follows her out back.> Judge Petrillo: I will allow Jessica to freely live in the area of Dunn's River Connecticut and cannot leave the town. In fifteen days she must take a mandatory blood test before she is in the chair. On my own personal message, I'm sorry Mrs. Tate, there is nothing I can possibly do to help you out. I hope you do realize that. Jessica Tate: I do, and I hope you realize I will prove to everyone I have been set up and then this statement will be changed and I will not be the one sitting in the execution. I have thirty days to live and I will do so! Inside the confinements of the Courthouse <Jessica is sitting at the table crying as Mary walks in. She sits down with Jessica.> Mary: Jess, we will find Westers and Johnson and make sure you walk out here alive. Jessica: I know you will. But who will take care of the children? You must move back home and watch them for me. Mary: Jess, your children are all grown up. I don't think you have to worry about them. Next week, I'm going to take you out to your favorite restaurant in town, and a movie. Jessica: Oh you don't have to. Mary: Yes I do... <Mary starts crying.> Jess, I've almost lost you twice now. I don't want to lose you again. Jessica: You won't Mary. I won't let you. Mary: You can't control what they do Jessica. I will solve this all for you. Burt is already on the case. Jessica: Thank you. I always loved our heart to heart conversations. Mary: I must go now. They are only allowing me in here for a few minutes. When will you come home? Jessica: As soon as possible. <Mary begins walking out.> Jessica: Mary? Mary: Yes? Jessica: I love you. Mary: I know. Thank you for always being there Jessica. <They go up and hug each other again.> Billy's Office <Billy is packing a suitcase and Mr. Fitzgerald walks in.> Mr. Fitzgerald: Where are you going Billy? Billy: I must go home! My mother was just found guilty of a crime. They are going to execute her! Mr. Fitzgerald: That's horrible! But before you leave, did you do the Pheta reports? Billy: Yes sir. Mr. Fitzgerald: And the contant papers? Those are more important that anyone's life you know. Billy: Yes I know sir. <Billy hands him the papers.> Mr. Fitzgerald: I'm sorry for hearing your news. Billy: I know. I will return when I know I can. Mr. Fitzgerald: Take your time.... <Billy walks out of the office and a paper falls out of his bag. It's the letter he received saying he was a fraud. Mr. Fitzgerald picks it up, reads it, and smiles.> Hospital <Danny is pacing outside of Elaine's room. Two security guards are watching the room. Jodie walks in quickly.> Jodie: Danny I read the message is everything all right? Danny: I don't know. Elaine was very sick. I don't know if she will survive. Jodie: I know she will. <The doctor walks out.> Doctor: Mr. Dallas, your wife was injected with some rat poison. We were able to take the poison out of her system. I believe she will recover quite quickly. Jodie: See that's wonderful news Danny! Danny: Can I go and see her? Doctor: Sure, follow me. <Danny goes back in and Chuck and Bob walk in and Bob has what looks like paint all over his face from a suppose "gun shot."> Bob: Help! Police you got to arrest this man! He just shot me. <Bob looks at Chuck.> Security Guard: Arrest him. Chuck: But he's a dummy! Bob: Lock him up boys! Sucks to be you Chuck! Tates House <Corinne sneaks in the house almost in tears.> Corinne: Maurice, it's safe to come in now. Maurice: Wow you sure have a lovely home. Now that we've both made the move to Connecticut I want to ask you something. I don't think it's the proper time but I must do it anyway. I love you Corinne. I want to marry you. With your mother's trial, we can definitely make our wedding something to cheer up the family. Corinne: You're right Maurice. Of course I will marry you. <Corinne and Maurice are kissing each other as Billy comes home.> Billy: Am I in the right house? Corinne: Yes and Billy I'm getting married! This is my fiance, Maurice. Billy: Congratulations but you know more importantly, where's mother? Corinne: Mother is coming home soon. Billy: How long does she have until the execution? Corinne: 29 days..... Billy: Oh dear. I hope something happens to change all of this. Corinne: So do I. Hospital <Chuck has handcuffs over him and Bob is on a small bed being worked on in the hospital lobby. Burt storms in.> Burt: Men what are you doing? Policeman: We are arrested this man for attempted murder. Burt: Chuck?!?!?! Chuck: I shot the gun at Bob and now they are arresting me. Burt: Men, look at the victim. Notice something about him? Policeman: Why yes. He seems to have some bark stuck in his throat... Burt: No you idiots! He's made of bark! He's a wooden doll! This is no human. Policeman: Men I believe the sheriff is right. Burt: Of course I'm right. Policeman: Let's get out of here. I'm not dealing with this doll crap. Mr. Chuck Campbell you are fined $500 for being a waist of Dunn's River policemen. Bob: You're kidding right?..... Announcer: Will the Campbell's and Tates find a way to get Jessica out of being executed since there's no real evidence pointing to the arson done by Westers and Johnson? Has Billy's boss figured out he's a fraud? Will Elaine get better soon? And when will Corinne and Maurice get wed? These questions and many others may be answered in the next episode of SOAP! |
