In
the last episode of SOAP Burt saved Jessica, Chester, Mary and
Billy by turning himself into Super Soup when they all passed out.
Westers and Johnson saw they had no where to go so they decided to
jump the boat and the families hope to never see them again.
Jessica told Chester that she has no intentions of being together
with him again. She says she learned from mistakes and her
biggest one would be falling for his trap. Chester said he
was determined to prove to Jessica that he is once again in love
with her. On the island Dutch decided that he wants to
spend his cash on a house. Eunice doesn't want to move away
from home but when Dutch promised a live-in male stripper Eunice
knew she wanted to move. Meanwhile when Burt got back to the
room Mary confronted him saying she knew his secret!
Confused? You won't be after tonight's episode of SOAP!

The Destiny
|
Narrator:
We pick up where we last left off, Mary confronting Burt about his
secret.
<Burt has his guilty look on his face and then turns to Mary
who is very angry.>
Mary: Late night travels! Your random dissapearing this
vacation, oh no don't tell me this is sheriff work. You can
use those excuses at home but you're on vacation and I know what
you've been doing.
Burt: I can explain!
Mary: You think I'm stupid? You think I don't notice
my own husband when he goes off gambling?
Burt: I should have told you ear........gambling????
Mary: Don't deny it Burt.
Burt: But Mary, I'm not gambling.
Mary: Then you better explain within the next 10 seconds where's
you've been.
Burt: Oh.......well okay I've been gambling.
Mary: So have you lost any money?
Burt: Actually no. I'm even. I have my good nights and
bad nights. Casino's aren't my friends or enemies.
Mary: Well I don't like this. I want you to stop.
Burt: Okay Mary. Anything for you.
<Burt and Mary hug with Burt sighing in relief.>

Jessica's Bedroom
|
<There's a
knock on the door. Jessica answers. Eunice is
there.>
Jessica: Hello darling. Isn't it a lovely morning?
Eunice: It is. Listen mom, we need to talk.
Jessica: Why yes of course, what's the matter?
Eunice: You see, this is really hard.
Jessica: You can tell me anything.
Eunice: I know, it's just that me and Dutch, we're.
Jessica: Oh no. Don't tell me.
Eunice: Yes.
Jessica: The family has to be cursed. First me, then Corinne
and now you.
Eunice: You never moved. You've lived in the same
house all your life.
Jessica: Eh? Weren't you going to tell me that you and Dutch
were getting a divorce?
Eunice: No! He has money now, I wouldn't leave him.
Jessica: <sarcastic> Glad you have your priorities right.
<Pause> Wait, you're moving?
Eunice: Yes.
Jessica: I think that's a wonderful idea.
Eunice: You do?
Jessica: Of course! You can always drive by for dinner.
I mean maybe you would move to Hartford or somewhere near us.
Eunice: We're living in Caracao.
Jessica: Carawhat?
Eunice: Caracao, the island we're stopped at. It's so
lovely. Dutch and I think it would be an excellent
opportunity.
Jessica: Then when would I see you?
Eunice: I'm sure me and Dutch would fly back for the holiday's.
Jessica: I can't believe you're moving.
Eunice: A minute ago you were just fine with it!
Jessica: A minute ago I thought you would move down the street.
Eunice: It won't be so bad.
Jessica: What happens when you and Dutch get into a fight? I
won't be there to help you.
Eunice: Of course you will mom. I can call or email you.
Jessica: Oh god not email! I hate computers. I always
feel that the computer knows what you're thinking and will try to
out-smart you.
Eunice: Computer's can't think.
Jessica: Oh the salesman said our computer is smarter than half
our family.
Eunice: Mom, an alarm clock is smarter than half our family, but
me, you, daddy, Corinne are all very smart. Don't worry
about the intenet.
Jessica: I know. I'm just trying to find a way to convince
you not to move.
Eunice: That's not going to happen.
Jessica: I know.
Eunice: You're the only one I have told. I hope you can come
and see the house today. Dutch and I aren't coming back on
the boat after it leaves. We're moving in tonight.
Jessica: What about all your clothes?
Eunice: I packed my entire closet for the trip and I'll have Billy
and Corinne send me the rest.
Jessica: I'll come visit you, it's just right now I'm expecting a
masseuse to come so I must get ready.
Eunice: Bye mom.
<Eunice leaves. As the door closes Chester comes out of
the bathroom.>
Jessica: I have never been so angry in my entire life with you.
Chester: Last night was great.
Jessica: Don't speak to me.
Chester: The first time you can say was a mistake but now this is
the second time you've drank just enough to end up falling in bed
with me.
Jessica: You didn't even drink last night. I shouldn't have.
Chester, you're a jerk! You know I have a low tolerance yet
you gave me more to drink.
Chester: Face it Jessica, maybe we were meant to be together.
<Jessica slaps Chester across the face.>
Chester: What was that for?
Jessica: For being Chester Tate! I hope you're happy, those
thirty seconds last night completely ended any chance of us
reconciling. Now get out!
Chester: But....
Jessica: GET OUT!
Chester: Please consider....
Jessica: I'm telling you for the last time to leave.
Chester: Alright, I'll go.
<Chester leaves slightly ashamed.>
Jessica: What do I do? I had non-alcoholic drinks last
night. Chester doesn't know this, and I do miss him. I
don't know what to do......

Burt and Mary's Room
|
<Mary is
reading a book on the deck as she hears the door knock. She
opens the door and it is Jessica.>
Mary: What's wrong?
Jessica: Mary, whatever I say you have to promise you won't be
angry with me.
Mary: Jessie, of course I can't be angry at you.
Jessica: No this is something that you have to promise you won't
be angry about. If you are, I won't tell you.
Mary: You can tell me anything, I'm your sister.
Jessica: Well okay, if you promise.
Mary: I promise. Jessica you make this out as if you did
something horrible! What are you going to say? You
slept with Chester?
<Jessica puts her head down.>
Mary: Jessica! I can't believe you! You used to tell
me how much you hated that man for everything he did to you!
Jessica: Yes I know, but at the same time he's still the man I was
married to all these years. I can't help myself..
Mary: Well what are you going to do?
Jessica: I don't know. I pretended as if I drank too much
and he took advantage of me.
Mary: Oh that's horrible.
Jessica: I know. What should I do?
Mary: You still have feelings for him don't you.
Jessica: Yes...
Mary: Then I think you only have one choice. You must tell
him.
Jessica: I wish you weren't such a good sister.
Mary: Why?
Jessica: Because a bad sister would tell me not to tell him the
truth and I always listen to my sister.
Mary: Do you want me to tell you that?
Jessica: No, I would rather do the right thing. Thanks Mary.
<Jessica and Mary hug.>
