<Mary is sitting up and Ingrid is getting ready to shoot at her. Mary kicks the gun and it flies off to the middle of the road. Mary runs away and Ingrid picks up the gun and tries shooting at her. Mary dodges the bullets and gets into a car that is driving by.>

Driver: Hey who are you?

Mary: I don't know. Can you take me somewhere safe?

Driver: I work at a bar in downtown Conneticut. If you want I could take you out there and get you rested but if you plan on staying you're going to need a job.

Mary: I don't even know who I am.

Driver: Maybe you will once you can get some safety. You look like you just banged your head. What happened?

Mary: I don't know, I just woke up with a gun pointed at me.

Driver: Well think about it.

Mary: Mary. My name is Mary Tate.

Driver: Well Mary let's get you a job in the city.

<As the car drives away the camera goes back to the Campbells House as the real Burt walks out. He sees Ingrid.>

Burt: What did you do to Mary?

Ingrid: Nothing. But it's too late Birdie. Your wife is long gone! Ha Ha Ha Ha!

Burt: Why do you have a gun?

Ingrid: It's for protection, there are so many nuts in this country.

Burt: What were you really doing outside of my house with a gun Ingrid?

Ingrid: Fine, I was really going to get my revenge on the family but it never happened. Trust me Vurt I'm not vinished!

<Ingrid leaves.>

Burt: I know she was up to something. I can't arrest as there's not much proof she was doing anything.

<Burt walks inside the house.>

Burt: Where's Burt? Damn, he probably saw Mary leave and he took off after her. I better get the Sheriff Car and go after them!

Adam Santrosa: Okay, you're up Dallas!

Danny: I don't know what to do Adam. Elaine left me and I had to choose between her or the saxaphone. I chose the saxaphone.

Adam Santrosa: I think you made a wise decision.

Danny: I think I need to quit.

Adam Santrosa: Don't quit. It's only a few days until New Years and we're paying you $10,000!

Danny: But Elaine is more important.

Adam Santrosa: Money can buy you anyone.

Danny: Fine, I'll play on New Years Eve.

<Jessica and Corinne are eating a piece of cake.>

Jessica: Corinne you haven't said a word in the longest time. What's the matter?

Corinne: I miss Maurice. He said he's heading home in a few days once his father recovers but I can't bear to be without him.

Jessica: You will get used to that. There were weeks I never saw Chester, well it turned out I was the only woman who didn't see Chester those weeks. Corinne: There's also another problem.

Jessica: Don't tell me you're pregnant again!

Corinne: No Ma! It's nothing like that. It's about Dutch.

Jessica: The poor man losing Eunice. I know she's my daughter but she has to grow up.

Corinne: Well that's part of the problem.

Jessica: What happened?

Corinne: Dutch confessed his love for me again and I'm worried that I can't control myself.

Jessica: Sure you can!

Corinne: Remember last time?

Jessica: I wish not to think of it. As I remember now, I was never even there.

Corinne: But you were and you know what we did and between you and me, he did it good.

Jessica: Corinne!

Corinne: What? It's freedom of speech.

Jessica: Just make sure you know what you're doing. I know Eunice will return and if Dutch doesn't take her back I understand but we must make sure he decides it on his own and he knows he can't have you. Corinne: He knows that.

Jessica: Then we just have to wait until Eunice returns.

<Two people are waiting for their drinks as Mary comes out serving them. A man sitting at the table to the far left of the bar calls Mary over.> Jerry: Mary how are you doing?

Mary: I'm so confused. I feel as if something is trying to pop out in my head. The last thing I remember was a lady pointing a gun at me saying that she was family and that she wanted to kill me!

Jerry: Do you remember if you're married or if you have any other family?

Mary: No, well actually I had a husband named Chester but he died about six years ago from suicide. I do also recall some friends of mine, The Campbells. Jessica and Burt Campbell. They paid me $400,000 for house plans. I think I was in construction because I do recall having a company. Back to the Campbell's however, they took my deal and I never got the money from them. They ripped me off Jerry!

Jerry: Don't worry Mary, if they ever step foot here we'll take care of them.

Mary: Thank you. I have to rest. Do you mind if stay in the spare bedroom above the bar until I have enough money to buy my own place?

Jerry: Stay with us as long as you want. You're family now.

Mary: Thanks. Actually, I'm going to go and buy some good liquor for my place. None of the cheap stuff you guys serve here.

Jerry: Heh, we'll see you soon.

<Mary walks outside of the bar and into an alley. The alley leads to main roads. As she walks out Ingrid comes out of a car and starts talking.>

Ingrid: I have you exactly where I want you.

<Ingrid starts to pull out her gun and a car speeds up. Alien Burt comes out and Ingrid dodges away not knowing who it is.>

Alien Burt: It's me you're husband! Don't you remember?

Mary: No.

Alien Burt: Mary come with me I can take you to safety. I've been looking for you forever.

Mary: Okay.

<Alien Burt and Mary pull away and the Sheriff Car comes up the front of the bar. Burt comes out and sees there is no trace of Mary.>
